The Apple’s Far Out Event was held on September 7, Wednesday. In the event, many new gadgets and products were launched. So, here’s a list of all those gadgets:
iPhone 14 and 14 Plus
There will be no more iPhone mini. Instead of that, there will be a larger non-Pro iPhone. It will be launched to match the Pro Max in size. This new iPhone can bring back the old name that’s Plus. It can be called iPhone 14 Plus.
iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max
There will be a notch-less screen in it. There will be a 48 MP camera. There will be a faster chip. There will be a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. There will be a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Max Pro.
Apple Watch Series 8
Series 7 was a disappointing Series. But now there is Apple Watch Series 8 this fall. There are not many features. But there can be a new skin temperature sensor. It is an exciting product. It will have new features like sleep apnea detection, blood pressure, and blood glucose monitoring, and temperature sensing. It can have features like car crash detection and a rugged outdoor model designed for extreme usage.
Apple Watch SE 2
Apple Watch SE 2 skipped a year. But now it’s back. It’s back with some new features like always-on display, an ECG sensor, and fast charging. The price will be going up.
Apple Watch Pro
There will be a larger size. There will be a “rugged” option. There will be a redesign too.
AirPods Pro
Apple hasn’t updated the AirPods Pro for a long time. This means they will be more updates in the future. Here’s what’s expected: Stemless design with some high-end fitness and audio features, and the coming of lossless audio.
AirPods Pro 2
There will be an all-new design AirPods Pro 2. There would be more rounded curves and compact shapes. Also, the short stem that presently sticks out of the bottom of the AirPods is going to go. There will be a wireless chip. There will be support for Apple Lossless audio. And, there would be an improved Find My Device integration.
Mac Pro
There is work going on for Apple Silicon Mac Pro. There would be some more new features like 32-core CPU and 128-core GPU. This would be possible if Apple combines four M1 Max in one machine. It is being said that this chip would be known as M1 Extreme. It is an exciting product. It will come in both an Intel and a Mac variant.
Mac Mini
There will be two new Mac Minis coming in 2022. The two Mac Mini are: M2 Mac Mini and Mac Mini with M2 Pro. The Mac Mini with M2 Pro will replace the Intel-powered Mac mini model that Apple had. It is a powerful version. It will feature a smaller and slimmer footprint. There will be a plexiglass top and a magnetic charging connector. The new Mac Mini will support up to 64 GB of RAM. This is like an upgradation from the current generation’s 16 GB limit.
iMac
There would be two new models in the lineup. These would be M2 iMac and M2 Pro iMac. There can even be the revival of the iMac Pro.
MacBook Air with M2
One of the greatest Apple highlights this year would be a new MacBook Air with an M2 chip. There would be new changes in design. Its tapered shape will be eliminated. It will be replaced by an overall thinner, and uniform design. There would be a wide array of color options like pink, purple, blue, yellow, silver, and orange on the menu.
iPad Pro
There can be a new iPad Pro. There can be an updated design in it. There can be a wireless charging support. The current iPad Pro has an M1 chip. So, the new model can have an M2 chip. It is an 11-inch model. There will be a mini LED display upgrade. This would be an important upgrade in terms of contrast and color display. Other upgrades include a titanium chassis. It would be replacing the current aluminum material. There would be an M2 chip. There would be MagSafe compatibility. There would be reverse wireless charging. This will allow users to power Qi-enabled AirPods and iPhones by placing them on the iPad.
iPad (10th generation)
There can be an update to the iPad 10th generation. There can be a new chip. There can be a larger screen. The Home button will remain there. The size will increase. Instead of the 10.2-inch iPad, there will be a larger size. The next major redesigns will take place in 2023.
Some New Categories
HomePod with screen
This might not come in 2022. But Apple is working on a HomePod with a screen. A screen would make the HomePod more usable. A screen would increase the uses of the HomePod beyond audio to visual. So, you could watch podcasts and new reports. You could watch YouTube videos. You could communicate via FaceTime.
AR Glasses
AR means Augmented Reality. Apple has plans to make AR Glasses. We can see Apple’s AR Mixed Reality products by the end of 2022.
Small Apple TV
There could be a smaller Apple TV that can come in 2022. Apple is planning to release a new version of Apple TV. It can come in fall 2022.
Gaming Console
Apple can release a gaming console. Or, it can be an Apple TV with improved gaming credentials. So, this can be there.

So, with the Far Out Event of Apple on September 7, there have been a lot of latest gadgets launched by Apple. There is a lot of technological innovation that has come up. It is great and amazing.
