Apple has launched these two iPhones and these are the most advanced Pro lineup featuring the Dynamic Island which is a new design that introduces a newer way to experience iPhone, and also there is the Always-On display. iPhone 14 Pro is powered by A16 Bionic which is the fastest chip ever in a smartphone. It also has a new class of pro camera system. This is the 48 MP camera on iPhone featuring a quad-pixel sensor, and Photonic Engine. Photonic Engine is an enhanced image pipeline that betters low-light photos. These are groundbreaking advancements that make iPhone indispensable for everyday tasks and creative things. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be available in four gorgeous colors: deep purple, silver, gold, and space black. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have a beautiful surgical-grade stainless steel and textured matte glass design. These are available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes. Both model include a new Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion that features the Always-On display, enabled by a new 1 Hz refresh rate and multiple power-efficient technologies. This makes the new lock screen more useful, keeping the time, widgets, and Live activities available at a glance. The advanced display also brings the same peak brightness in a smartphone: up to 2000 nits. This is two times the brightness as compared to that in iPhone 13 Pro.
iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max also continue has durability features with the Ceramic Shield front cover. This is tougher than any glass- and are protected from any common accidents with water and dust resistance.

The Dynamic Island enables new ways to interact with iPhone that has a design that blends the line between hardware and software, adapting in real time to show important alerts, notifications, and activities. With the coming of the Dynamic Island, the TrueDepth camera has been redesigned to take up less of the display area. Without stopping content on the screen, the dynamic island maintains an active state to allow users easier access to controls with a simple tap-and-hold.
A new class of Pro Camera System
The pro camera system on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in an iPhone, and hence, empowering every user, be it casual or professional, to capture the best photos and video.
For the first time ever, the Pro lineup features a new 48 MP camera with a quad-pixel sensor. This sensor adapts to the photo being captured. Also, it features second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization. For most photos, the quad-pixel sensor combines every four pixels into one large quad pixel that results in amazing low-light capture and keeping photo size at a practical 12 MP.
Features of Quad-Pixel sensor
The quad-pixel sensor also enables a 2× Telephoto option that uses the middle 12 megapixels of the sensor for full resolution photos and 4K videos with no digital zoom. This delivers optical quality at a familiar focal length, which is great for things like Portrait mode. And with a new machine learning model designed specifically for the quad-pixel sensor, iPhone now shoots ProRAW at 48 MP with an unprecedented level of detail that enables creative workflows for pro users.
Additional pro camera system upgrades and features
A new 12 MP Ultra Wide camera:
It is of 1.4 µm pixels. It delivers sharper images with more detail, improving already powerful macro photography capabilities.
- An improved Telephoto camera:
It offers 3× optical zoom.

A16 Bionic: The fastest chip in smartphone
The A16 Bionic chip in iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is unparalleled experiences like the Dynamic Island and it is generations ahead of the competition. It also has impressive computational photography capabilities. It has two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores. This is up to 40 percent faster than the competition and easily handles demanding workloads. A16 Bionic has an accelerated 5-core GPU with 50 percent faster than the competition and easily handles demanding workloads. A16 Bionic features an accelerated 5-core GPU with 50 percent more memory bandwidth that’s perfect for graphics-intensive games and apps. Using Apple’s best-in-class fusion architecture to combine performance and energy savings, the chip gives more performance with a fraction of the power compared to the competition.
A16 Bionic has incredible computational photography features. The CPU, GPU, Neutral Engine, and image signal processor works together to support new camera hardware and perform for 4 trillion operations per photo.
